The VP of Sales for MySpace Music is an Executive Level Sales Manager responsible for creating the sales strategy and driving advertising revenue from direct customers and agencies. He/she has a deep-rooted passion for music and knowledge of the online music landscape. As a leader in the industry, the VP will set the strategy and vision for MySpace Music and ensure that the team reaches its objectives.

Responsibilities
• Develop sales strategy and drive revenue growth for the branded sales team
• Establish and maintain significant relationships with CMO's and Senior Agency Directors
• Package and negotiate sales efforts with MySpace Music's largest advertisers
• Hiring, training and mentoring both Senior Level Sales Management and Account Executives
• Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of MySpace products and services through evangelizing our proposition to the advertising community
• Oversee Branded Sales Management and collaborate with Operations and Marketing to ensure highest levels level of customer service and satisfaction

Qualifications
• Strategic thinker, proven track record of driving significant revenue results in rapidly growing environment
• Senior-Level Sales Management experience, leading large high-performing sales organizations
• 10+ years in media sales, including 5+ years management experience
• Recognized industry presence and significant Senior Level contacts in the media industry
• Experience defining revenue models
• Deep cross-functional knowledge and experience with all operations within sales
• Demonstrated ability to create and executive on a long-term sales strategy
• BA/BS required; MBA a plus
